10 Ways To Lose Belly Fat

Looking to lose belly fat are you? You’ll be happy to know (or maybe not if you don’t like to be active) that I’ve come up with a list of 10 ways to lose belly fat:

  1. Running – Running is a great way to get your heart rate up, burn off some calories and lose belly fat and also fat all over your body.
  2. Walking – If you really can’t stand running and it doesn’t keep you motivated, try walking. If walking is something you can stick with on a regular basis (at least 3 times a week, preferably more) than that’s better than doing nothing at all.
  3. Jogging – A happy medium for those who really hate running but don’t like to walk either. Walking to me is boring because it just seems like it takes longer to get through the session. Could be just me though. Jogging is a relatively easy activity because you can jog at whatever pace you’d like.
  4. Interval training – Mix everything up from steps 1-3. This is also great for those who get bored and it helps the time go by quicker because you’re constantly switching things up.
  5. HIIT – High intensity interval training is great for burning fat. To perform HIIT you need to incorporate sprinting intervals of at least 20 seconds, followed by 30 to 4o seconds of walking. Repeat for at least 10 minutes.
  6. Dancing – Dancing is easy. All that you have to do is move your body around – you don’t need steps. Just do your thing, all around your house. Turn the music up and just get moving. Super simple!
  7. Kickboxing – A great fat burning activity that will help you lose belly fat. Kickboxing will also help to tone up your entire body.
  8. Swimming – Swim laps for at least 20 minutes. Swimming is really relaxing for some people. If you don’t know how to swim, you might want to skip this step. :o ) No biggie, there are still 2 left.
  9. Play with your kids – If you have kids, play tag with them outside, or take them to the park and run around with them.
  10. Sleep – This is one of my favorite ones! Be sure you’re getting at least 7 hours of sleep per night, but no more than 9. If you keep your sleep time within a period of 7-9 hours, it can help you lose belly fat.

To really lose belly fat, you also need to incorporate strength training into your workouts. For more information about workouts you can do to help you lose belly fat, click here.
