Start Losing Belly Fat By Utilizing The Eat-Clean Diet

In order to start losing belly fat, you need to be sure that you’re eating healthy. If you have stomach fat, you can do all of the abdominal exercises you want, but if you don’t eat healthy that layer of extra fat will never go away.

To eat healthy, just make sure you’re eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables everyday, along with whole grains, water and protein.

One of the easiest ways to avoid stomach fat is to avoid sugar as much as possible, including sodas and fruit juices. (aside from natural sugars found in fruits) Your body needs fat, but you definitely do not need sugar. For one, it’s just unhealthy and secondly, it bloats your belly. There are a number of sugar free snacks available that will satisfy your sweet cravings. A favorite of mine is Jell-O or sugar free pudding. Protein shakes can be a great nutritious snack too. What’s better than satisfying your body’s need for protein and satisfying a sweet craving at the same time?? Well…besides eating a big piece of cherry cheesecake. :)

*If your house is full of junk food, get rid of it now. Do not wait until it’s gone, just throw it away. If you don’t have crap food in your house, you’re obviously less likely to eat it.

*Decide on what meals you’re going to make prior to grocery shopping, make a grocery list and FOLLOW it. Do NOT go grocery shopping when you’re hungry. That NEVER turns out very well. At least for me and my family. LOL If you go grocery shopping when you have a full stomach, you’re less likely to purchase junk food.

*If you are running out of ideas for meals to make, just do a search online to find some great tasting recipes. BettyCrocker.com is one of my favorites. I just made a chicken, cheese and rice dinner the other night that my family loved…my children included! It was really easy AND inexpensive.
