Getting Rid Of Love Handles

Getting Rid Of Love Handles

Getting rid of love handles is a pain-in-the-you-know-what for a lot of folks. If you’ve had children, enjoy a few too many beers on occasion or are just growing older and more sedentary, then chances are you probably have some love handles you’d like to get rid of. It will take some work, but it definitely isn’t impossible.

Getting rid of love handles requires moving your body on a consistent basis and eating a diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, proteins and whole grains. What you eat directly affects how your waistline looks. If you aren’t sure what you should be eating, Tosca Reno’s Eat-Clean Diet can help you out.

Anyway, physical activity is also important and the best way to start reducing your love handles and eventually making them disappearĀ  so what you should do is 20 to 60 minutes of cardio at least 3 times per week. This depends greatly upon your current fitness level. Walking will help you, but running, sprinting, jogging and intervals will be more beneficial because you will begin seeing results even faster.

To be sure you don’t get too bored, it’s probably best to mix both intervals and steady pace cardio during the week. You don’t always have to just run or walk either. You can do any cardiovascular activity that raises your heart rate. Swimming, jumping rope, bicycling and kickboxing are just some examples.

There is no quick fix to getting rid of love handles. They are pretty darn stubborn so you have to work hard, but your hard work WILL PAY OFF!
