Get Rid Of Love Handles: Here’s Exactly How I Did It

In order to get rid of love handles, you do need to put some effort and work into it. You definitely can’t sit around eating whatever you want and not move your body, and expect to get rid of them. I never really had to worry about love handles until after I had my second child. I gained more weight with her then I did with my first daughter. After she was born, I was determined to get my body back into it’s prepregnancy shape. I had never participated in any kind of fitness program and I never cared about what I ate. Oh how times have changed and my body is thankful for it!
Per doctor’s orders, I couldn’t get started doing any type of rigorous activity until 8 weeks postpartum. That was a long time for me to wait feeling all flabby and fat everywhere. As soon as I got the okay, I immediately started doing cardio activity every single day – usually with the weekends being my rest days.
Running really helps to get rid of love handles. It really worked for me. Within 2 weeks I had lost almost 3 inches off of my waist. (It was actually 2.75″) Crazy right? And I hadn’t even changed my diet that much yet. I didn’t have a treadmill either. Do you know what I did? I ran in place. Talk about boring! But, it worked. Seeing the results helped me stick with it until I was able to afford a treadmill.
After awhile, I really wanted to get started shaping and toning my entire body so I decided to start strength training. I made up a few workouts to do 3 days a week and I started seeing results immediately in my upper back, shoulder and arm areas. Then while browsing on the internet one day, I came across a step-by-step guide that changed the way I live forever. Getting into shape really is a lifestyle change you know.
This guide showed me how to work with my metabolism so I was burning as much fat as possible by eating the foods they suggest and following their workout plans. That’s when I really noticed my body toning up and I WAS able to get rid of love handles – even after having 2 babies within 2.5 years. I honestly never thought they were going to go away. My ‘muffin top’ is gone! If you’re ready to get working and would like a detailed, step-by-step plan about how to get rid of love handles, click here.
