3 Exercises To Lose Belly Fat After A Pregnancy
If you have been pregnant you know what happens to your stomach after that baby is born. You are left with a bunch of lose skin that you don’t want any eyes on the entire planet to see. A great portion of the weight gained in your belly will come off without a whole lot of effort, but to help move things along, here are 3 exercises to lose belly fat after a pregnancy:
- Running in place – I always used intervals for this. I would run in place as fast as I could for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then I would just jog in place for 1 minute. Repeat for 20 minutes
- Jumping Rope – Oh how I hated doing this because of the way it made my belly jiggle around…but it’s a great cardiovascular activity that will get your heart rate up, helping you to lose belly fat – and burn body fat all over.
- Barbell Deadlifts – A great strength training move that strengthen you butt, legs and lower back. Building muscle also helps your body to burn more fat.
*Always wait to get the go-ahead from your doctor prior to starting a workout routine after a pregnancy. If you’ve had a C-section, you’ll generally need to wait 8 weeks, if not a C-section, then about 6 weeks.
*These are all exercises that I began doing as soon as I was given the okay and they really worked for me. They’re really simple and very effective when paired with healthy eating.
