5 Cardio Moves For Losing Belly Fat
There are a number of moves for losing belly fat. In this particular post, I’m going to tell you about 5 cardio moves for losing belly fat. Belly fat is an obstacle in the lives of most people. Through my experience with fitness, I have found that cardio moves are #1 when it comes to losing belly fat. Also, remember that your diet is important. What and how much you eat can directly influence the amount of fat around your belly.
Here are 5 cardio moves for losing belly fat:
- Walking briskly for 40 minutes per day, 5 days per week. I would suggest walking at a pace from between 3.5 mph to 4.5 mph. If you keep walking like this, you will start to elevate your heart rate in no time.
- Perform cardio interval training for 20 minutes per day, 5 days per week. Cardio interval training is my favorite cardio activity. A great routine to try would be walking at 2 mph for 1 minute, running at 6 mph for 1 minute and sprinting at 10 mph for 1 minute. Then just repeat for at least 20 minutes. I’m a big fan of interval training because you work harder, which means you don’t have to workout as long, like if you are walking.
- Jump roping is another great activity. I like to start out by doing double jumps for 1 minute, followed by single jumps for 30 seconds, then back to double jumps for 1 minute. I keep repeating for as long as I can go for.
- Running or jogging for 30 minutes per day, 3 days per week. I find running boring, but it is a great way to start losing belly fat. Just run at a steady pace for 30 minutes – try to run at a pace of at least 5 mph.
- Swimming is also a great cardio activity. If you have access to a pool, this is a great activity to try and help mix things up. You can burn mega calories by swimming for 20 to 30 minutes a day.
Remember to switch up every aspect of your workout routine, including cardio. If you don’t, you can end up getting incredibly bored, which could prevent you from participating in further workouts just because you dread what’s coming; so change it up every now and then.
